However, we need to clarify our position: While we are based in the South and cover these topics due to their dark nature, we in no way endorse war or the causes for which the Confederate States of America fought. We approach these subjects with a commitment to historical accuracy and respect for the lives lost, but we do not align with the sentiment expressed in many Confederate monuments, such as:
"The men were right who wore the gray, and right can never die.
